Public FacilitiesThe following public facilities are available close to the Visitor Centre all accessed from the old stables courtyard.
There are also parking bays for the disabled in the Mansion car park on Kennel Lodge Road. Please note that the Stables Courtyard is a historic surface. It is on level ground but it is a cobbled surface that may be uncomfortable for some visitors.

Farmers MarketThe monthly farmers market takes place in the stables courtyard from 10.30 am - 2.30 pm, every third Sunday of the month. Note that the Market starts again in March 2012, there are no markets in January or February.
Any local food producers or craftspeople who would like to take part in the farmers market, please contact Sophie at sophie@mullioncove.net for an application form.
Follow the market on Twitter @AshtonCourtFM and Facebook (Ashton Court Farmers' Market). More information on the Mullion Cove website.
Picnic SiteThe picnic site and play area completes the restoration of the old stables area of Ashton Court. The Lord Mayor of Bristol opened the picnic site in July 2009. This was particularly apt as the stables last use back in the 1990's was as a home for the Lord Mayor of Bristol's coach and horses.
Just walk down from the stables courtyard to reach the picnic area, the tables have views of Bristol, North Somerset and the mansion.
Mansion Car ParkThe closest car park to the Mansion and Visitor Centre is on Kennel Lodge Road. This can get very busy on weekends with good weather especially on bank holiday weekends. See the map link marked - 'Road Map with places of interest marked' this shows all of the estates car parks.
To reach the mansion from this car park, walk up the slope until you join a roadway this a driveway from the Mansion to Church Lodge and All Saints Church in Long Ashton. Walk to the right along this drive until the road forks, take the right fork and you will immediately see the west face of the Mansion. The stables area and all the visitor centre facilities are on the east side, you can walk on the roadway above the Mansion or walk through the Mansion gardens below to reach the centre. Note that: the Mansion car park on Kennel Lodge Road is not suitable for horse trailers. Please use the Ashton Road car park if you bring one of these on to the estate.
